Everything for cordless split-unit installation, with dust extraction, in one battery family

The InterDiamant Airco Intro Kit with Dust Extractor puts the complete cordless dry drilling system for air-conditioning installers in the van, extraction included: the 18 V machine with battery, charger and case, the cordless L-class dust extractor with two 4 Ah battery packs and charger, the 1 1/4" dust extraction adapter and centring rod that carry the long core drills, three Ø 62 mm x 300 mm dry core drills for the wall penetrations. Drilling and extraction run on one 18 V battery family, without a socket anywhere on the floor.

The penetration, drilled where the unit goes

The machine drives the Ø 62 mm x 300 mm core drill through the outside wall for refrigerant lines, condensate drain and cable, reinforced concrete included. The 1 1/4" dust extraction adapter puts the 1 1/4" core drill on the M18 spindle and takes the vacuum hose; the centring rod passes through the adapter and holds the core drill on the mark while the segments start the hole. Three core drills cover a season of installations before the first retip.

Two drilling ranges, one machine

Up to and including Ø 68 mm the machine covers all applications, reinforced concrete included. From Ø 68 mm up to and including Ø 100 mm it drills softer materials such as brick, sand-lime brick, Poroton, aerated concrete and plaster. With a 3DP-XPD dosensenker on the supplied M16 adapter, available separately, the machine also drills the Ø 68 or Ø 82 mm recess for the socket box of the indoor unit.

Extraction for occupied homes

The Ø 32 mm hose of the cordless dust extractor connects to the dust extraction adapter on the machine, and the dust from the core drill goes into the 13 litre container instead of into the living room. Dust class L, up to 90 minutes on two battery packs, quiet enough in ECO mode for work in occupied homes and offices.

Core drills, dust extraction adapter and centring rod are specified together with the machine, so the system bores a straight, clean hole without cracking the surround, and the core drills come back to InterDiamant for retipping when the segments are worn.
